1. I am an individual or business owner and need your help. How can I reach you?

The best way to contact us is using one of our “Contact Us” forms throughout our website if you need to simply communicate with us or need a one-on-one appointment or consultation. Alternatively, you can reach out to us by emailing support@peetomayaccounting.com or by calling our business line on 571-412-6300.

2. I need you to help with my bookkeeping and accounting but I am so small. Do you work with really small businesses?

Yes, we do! We realize that it is only a matter of time for you to grow and we want to help you do that. Even the multi-national companies started small. As such, we do our best to work with every budget and size. Don’t hesitate to contact us.

3. I need payroll services, who do you use for payroll?

We offer payroll services that are tailored to your needs and depending on the size of your business. The 2 main companies we use for payroll are QuickBooks and Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (ADP).

4. I want to file my taxes with the IRS. Do I have to file my tax return myself after you prepare it?

PeetoMay Accounting Services, LLC has been authorized by the IRS to participate in the electronic e-filling program with the IRS (IRS e-file). All of our returns are e-filed except in rare cases or circumstances that will require a paper filing to be mailed in.

5. Do you do tax returns for businesses?

Yes, we do prepare tax returns for businesses. Please contact us.

6. How do I pay for tax return services and do I have to pay out of pocket to file my taxes?

We accept all major forms of payment. We invoice you for services received through our Intuit QuickBooks and provide all the major forms of payment to you that can be easily paid with the payment link provided in your invoice. We also offer the Zelle payment option if you need to pay directly from your bank account to our business account. See our “Payments” tab on the home page for more details. Lastly, based on your preference, we can take your tax preparation fees out of your tax return refund if you are eligible through a service called Refund Advantage.

7. How do I pay for services you provide?

We accept all major forms of payment including paying via Paypal. We invoice you for services received through our Intuit QuickBooks and provide all the major forms of payment to you that can be easily paid with the payment link provided in your invoice. We also offer the Zelle payment option if you need to pay directly from your bank account to our business account. See our “Payments” tab on the home page for more details.

8. Where Is My Refund?
Your refund is handled by the IRS and the timing of your refund is completely out of our control. However, you do have the ability to check on the status of your refund by providing the requested pertinent personal information. Please keep in mind that some sites ask for “Filing Status” and “Refund Amount” so if you chose to have your tax preparer fees come out of your refund please enter the amount of refund before fees are deducted. 9. I Do Not Have Time to see you in person to do my taxes or request bookkeeping, accounting or other financial services you offer. What do I do?

We recognize how busy you are and understand the need for our clients to receive their required services virtually. For taxes, we have a secure tax portal that is tailored to each client that enables relevant tax documents to be securely uploaded (see our tax service page for more details). In general, we remain committed to being responsive to meeting requests and can schedule meetings with our clients virtually over zoom as needed.

10. I am retired and receive social security benefits. Do I still have any filing obligations?

It all depends on your unique circumstances. Your Social Security may be taxable up to 85% if you receive other forms of income.

11. What are your hours?

PeetoMay Accounting Services, LLC tries to be as available and highly flexible as possible to meet all of our client needs.
